Joseph R. Kelley, Doctor of Chiropractic, Clinic Director
My name is Dr. Joe Kelley and most of our patients just call me Dr. K. I was born in the Seattle area and have lived here most of my life. Besides my California adventure for graduate school I have stayed true to my Northwest roots! My education background reaches from Interlake High School, to Western Washington University, to California State University at Hayward, to Palmer Chiropractic College West…what a journey it was. I truly believe my learning will never stop---whether it be through my continuing education seminars, growing and healing with my patients, or just watching my daughters learn and grow. As one of my rock heroes once said… “I thought I taught the world, turns out the world taught me.” That being said, it has been and will always be my purpose “to educate, check and adjust as many families as possible toward optimal health through natural chiropractic care.” I feel blessed to have the opportunity to help people improve their lives, extend their lives and to participate in their family’s overall wellness. Health is our most priceless asset and it will always be my mission to help our community (and ultimately the world) naturally restore and maintain their health at an optimal level.
As a former stock car driver, I was brought into my first chiropractor’s office following a very serious racing accident in 1992. My healing experience changed my life and I immediately decided to shift my career path from engineering to the field of chiropractic health care. I have devoted my life to helping others regain their lives! I currently live in Woodinville with my lovely wife Yohko (my rock), my two daughters, Amber & Lexi (my inspirations), and our dog Jake. To me, family is the most important thing in the world and I feel lucky to have mine!
I hope when our paths cross some day we are both able to teach each other something.
Benjamin C. Baker, Doctor of Chiropractic
My name is Dr. Benjamin Baker. I’m back in the Northwest after spending four years in Minneapolis. While in Minnesota, I acquired my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Chiropractic College. I’m a native to the Seattle area and am very happy to call it home. My involvement with chiropractic began in my teen years when I was a patient with severe low back and neck issues. I consider myself fortunate to stumble upon chiropractic at such an early age. During my time as a patient, I watched chiropractic change my life and transform me from a person who could not do sit-ups or run because “I have a bad back” to an avid marathon runner. My mission is to help others experience health, vitality and the ability to stay as active as they choose through their lives.
I have a wife, Melissa, who is a high school teacher and a gymnastics coach. We love to run, hike and travel as much as possible. You may also find me on a golf course if I’m not in the office. I have a passion for being active and love to help others keep their bodies tuned up for whatever endeavors they value in the life. Patient education is something I value very highly as a chiropractor. My mission is to educate and empower patients to take their health to the next level.
Sarah Kelly, Chiropractic Assistant, Patient Service Coordinator
My name is Sarah Kelly; I am the newest member of our team. I have been in Seattle since 2007 and I love it here. I was born in Montana where I raised my two children who are now grown with a family of their own. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as traveling.
Growing up I was treated by a Chiropractor where I had learned the benefits of a healthy spine. I cannot say enough about how much Chiropractic has helped me throughout my life. My children were also raised with Chiropractic care; through growing pains, sports, and just everyday activities. It truly was a blessing to havi such great care without having to give them or myself medications.
I will be handling all appointments and taking care of our patients when they come in and upon leaving. I'm inspired by everyone's stories about how Chiropractic has made their lives better. I am very excited to meet each and every one of you!
Peggy Kelley, Office and Billing Manager
My name is Peggy and I am the "behind the scenes" member of our team. I am a native Washingtonian and although I love to travel, I would never live anywhere else. After having the privilege of being a stay at home mom for two very active sons, I decided to go back to school when my eldest left for college. After enrolling in art school, I found myself putting in all nighters and stressing over homework, along with my son Matt who was a senior in High school. After a very strenuos and exciting couple of years and with my degree in hand, I entered the field of graphic design. Eventually I had the opportunity to start my own business, which gave me the chance to indulge in my two passions- art and travel!
It was during that time in my life that I began to learn about Chiropractic. At first I was a little skeptical but as I learned more I realized that there was a better way to healthy living. The chiropractic philosophy was definetly for me! Knowledge is power and it didn`t take me long to realize that the power to reach optimal health was naturally mine. When the opportunity arose to work in a Chiropractic clinic, I jumped at the chance. Although I am the "Paper Pusher" of the group, I am still inspired by our patients and their amazing stories of dramatically improved health.
So here I am, not in the art business, but in the business of Chiropractic care- fascinating how life takes you to places you never expected. I am so happy to be here and to have had someone so knowledgeable teach me about his passion of Chiropractic. He is the best teacher I know and I am proud to say that he is my son, Dr. Joe Kelley. He has dedicated his life to serving and educating the communtiy about Chiropractic and caring for his patients with compassion, knowledge and yes, some humor too.
When you come to our clinic, you will meet Dr. Kelley and Sarah, who are completely dedicated to you and your health...I may even peek out of my office to say hello!
